Methods of Data Entry - By Invoice or By Item

By Item - Use when you have to allocate large cash items to a number of outstanding invoices.

By Invoice - Use when you want to allocate a single cash item to a single invoice, and you know that invoice number  This is described in Speed Entry Using Invoice Number.
